R.J. Smith & Son is an independent, family run business providing expert wood polishing and furniture restoration services to domestic and commercial clients.
We started our business in 1978 and have demonstrated first-class furniture restoration expertise ever since. We provide french polishing services for all kinds of wood furniture, including doors, wood panelling, desks, tables and staircases.
We bring a wealth of experience to every project, large or small. We're proud to have carried out wood polishing and restoration work at Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London and the Methodist Central Hall in Westminster, amongst other prestigious locations.
Our work is our passion and we are delighted to share our knowledge and techniques with our clients. We always work and complete projects 'on site' and interested clients are welcome to watch us at work.
